This Privacy Policy explains how 88eggs (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use 88eggs (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account information — your email address and any name or profile details you provide when you register or sign in.
- Connected-account data— when you connect a third-party account, we store the access (and, where applicable, refresh) tokens the platform issues, the account's identifier and public display name or username, and the permissions (scopes) you granted. We use these only to provide the features you enable.
- Content — the media, text, and other content you create, upload, or choose to publish through the Service.
- Usage data — basic logs and diagnostics needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
2. How we use information
- to provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
- to perform the actions you request — including reading your basic profile from a connected account and publishing content you direct us to publish;
- to keep your connections working (for example, refreshing tokens);
- to secure the Service and prevent abuse; and
- to comply with legal obligations.
3. Third-party platform integrations
When you connect an account, we access only what the permissions you grant allow, to provide the features you enable:
- TikTok — with your authorization we access your basic profile (such as your open ID and display name) to show which account is connected, and, if you grant it, the ability to publish videos you create. Our use of TikTok data follows the TikTok Privacy Policy and Developer Terms.
- Instagram (Meta) — with your authorization we access your basic professional-account profile (such as your account ID and username) and, if you grant it, the ability to publish content you create. See the Instagram Privacy Policy.
- YouTube (Google) — with your authorization we access your channel information and, if you grant it, the ability to upload videos you create. Our use complies with the Google Privacy Policy.
We access, use, and store this data solely to provide the Service to you and never to build advertising profiles.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only: with the third-party platforms you connect, to carry out the actions you request; with service providers who host and operate the Service on our behalf, under confidentiality obligations; or when required by law.
5. Data retention and deletion
We retain connected-account tokens and details for as long as the connection exists. When you disconnect an account from the Connections page, we delete the stored tokens for that connection. You may also revoke our access directly in the platform's own settings (for example, TikTok, Instagram/Meta, or Google security settings). 6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted storage of access tokens. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children
The Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age required to hold accounts on the platforms we integrate with.
8. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the Service.
